TURKISH AIRLINES RESUMPTION OF FLIGHTS TO CYPRUS(STUDENTS)

Turkish Airlines has announced it is resuming flights between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC) . The airline will be operating four flights a week to Ercan Airport.

All travelers are advised to check travel restrictions at airports and also at the country of destination prior to booking, to ensure they satisfy any country entry criteria.

For passengers arriving in Turkey, health checks will be carried out at the point of entry. PCR tests will be performed free of charge in cases where symptoms are identified during the health check.

The Turkish Ministry of Health requires all passengers entering Turkey to undergo 14-days of self-isolation in their homes or at a designated address.

For those flying to the TRNC, only TRNC citizens who permanently live in North Cyprus, or those with student visas, or residency or work permits may enter the country . It is mandatory for all new arrivals to be quarantined in a government authorised-centre for 14 days.

 

For students resuming back to school

We are pleased to announce resumption of Flights to Ercan-Cyprus for new and old students.

Criteria for acceptance to the flight is as follows:

1) Student certificate to be approved by the ministry of Education on as 15th August 2021, or new registered students shall be able to enter the country.

2) PCR test results for the last 72 hours and PCR test results when entering the Island.

3) Mandatory 14 days quarantine for Students.

4) All transfers from Ercan Airport to home or Hotels shall be paid by the passengers themselves.

 

For all non-TRNC citizens other than students, a payment of 4,400 TL (approximately £510) to cover meals and accommodation is also due.
